I was born and raised in an Armenian family in Tehran, Iran. In 1985 I received my B.Sc. degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Iranian Medical University of Tehran. Then I went to Switzerland to receive special training in Hematology (study of the blood). In 1996 I immigrated to Canada with my family, and settled in lovely Toronto.
Because of my passion for sport (especially soccer), I was always interested in sport medicine. With that in mind I began my second career path by taking Kinesiology and Sport Therapy program of York Un iversity in Toronto.
I continued my education in the field of Chiropractic, and received my Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles in December 2003. After returning to Canada, I settled in Windsor, Ontario (Canadian side of Detroit River) and began to work as Associate and Clinic Director in Detroit, Michigan. After holding a part-time faculty position at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College I began to practice in a pain management clinic in Windsor. At the moment I practice in Multidisciplinary Physical Rehabilitation and Pain Management Clinics in Mississauga and Hamilton, Ontario.
I am certified by US National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and by Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. Currently I am licensed to practice in the province of Ontario and in the state of Michigan. I am also member of Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association, College of Chiropractors of Ontario, and Canadian Pain Society. My approach to chiropractic care is based on science of body mechanics and ergonomics. I use the state of the art equipment for postural/foot assessment. I also use the most up to date physical therapy modalities (exercise therapy, electrotherapy, ultrasound, and low level laser light) for pain management and rehabilitation. Due to my multinational situation I speak Armenian, Farsi, German and English.
